Recycling Made Crazy Easy

Did you know the Return-It Depots are making it crazy easy to return your bottles in Vancouver and surrounding areas?

Instead of having to go to the depot, sort through your bottles, stand in line and wait for a couple dollars back, you can have someone else do the work for you!

How does it work?

First, you have to sign up for a free Return-It Express account (express.return-it.ca). This is so they know who is depositing which bottles and so you can get your refund.

Place all of your empties into a blue recycling bag. There is no need to sort!

Go to your nearest Express Depot with up to 6 bags, enter in your registered phone number and print the number of labels that you need (1 per bag).

Drop your bag(s) onto the Express Kiosk chute, leave with a smile and continue on with your day!

An employee will then sort and count your bottles, and a refund will be deposited into your account. From there, you can redeem your refunds for e-gift cards, a cheque or a charitable donation.

This is an easy way to not only keep bottles, cans, etc out of the landfill, but to build up a little extra cash for your next party. Not gonna lie, I used my cash to throw a party at the trampoline park!
